Resolved Question: My friend is getting a dog, and I’m concerned about its health? |
A good friend of mine has three cats, and she is going to get a German Shepherd puppy. I’m not trying to be mean but I think she might spoil the dog! Her three cats are spoiled and overweight. She lets the cats eat as much as they want, and what they’re eating isn’t even healthy. I’m not sure what pet food brand she feeds them but I think it’s a BJ’s brand, cause that’s where they do all their shopping. And I can tell the food isn’t good for the cats. Like I said, they are all overweight, and they constantly throw up. I’m worried that once she gets the puppy she’ll feed it low-quality pet food. I”m been doing alot of research on the breed (German Shepherd) and they are prone to bloat, which may be caused by dry foods that contain fat as the first 4 ingredients, and I love my friend, I really do but honestly.. she isn’t very smart. She even said that if the dog nips one of their cats, she’s going to put it to sleep! She’s kind of impatient, and I’m worried she’ll give up on the dog trying to train it, and just get rid of it.I don’t know why, but this really bothers me. And it’s not even my dog.Wow, I wasn’t expecting all these nice answers. Thanks guys.
