Resolved Question: Hmmmm A Dog For A Gift?

My nana (grandmother) fell in love with my miniature pinscher puppy I got a few months back and has been dropping hints to my papa about getting one herself. She’s 70 and gets around really well still, is able to drive, garden, etc. but I think she’s lonely at home all the time if I’m not visiting or my cousins aren’t over. I think she would get a lot of enjoyment from a small dog (because she’s not too fond of larger breeds just because of their size). I was thinking about getting a puppy and training it from the last week or so of November to Christmas and giving it to her as a gift. My papa is really fond of Zoe (my dog) too, but he won’t get my nana one. Although, every time he’s around Zoe he seems really happy and upbeat. I don’t know, do you think this would be a good idea??? I’m going to ask my mom about it to see if her and my dad want to go in on it with me. My nana is 70. My papa is 60. They are both still very young at heart and VERY well off. My papa has said that if he ever got a dog it would be the same breed as Zoe.I live in Kalamazoo, MI and they live in Detroit. I’m in college so I only get to Detroit 2-3 times each year. My nana will call just to ask how Zoe is and my Papa is here on business sometimes and ALWAYS has to come visit Zoe.
