Resolved Question: Best way to correct aggressive behavior with a little dog? (sorry I ramble– honestly seeking help though!)?

I have a little 3 year old min pin. She was our universe until our son was born a year ago. I’ll admit she doesn’t get the attention that she used to, but she’s still a very spoiled dog, our ‘furry baby’. Sleeps in bed with us, gets plenty of cuddle & play time, etc. Point being, she’s been showing signs of aggression since a little after my son was born last year. At first it was only when it came to his socks. She’d seek every opportunity to steal them, and if you tried to take them away she acts like a full on rabid dog. In the past few months it has also expanded into aggression with trash that she steals. We’ve tried correcting this in our own way, but it obviously isn’t working. Tonight she bit my thumb, HARD. It wasn’t meant as a ‘watch out nibble’, it was meant to inflict pain. This is the last straw for me. I can’t have this kind of behavior around my son. I’ve looked into lessons, but they’re hundreds of dollars, and in our area it looks like we can only do puppy training classes, not 1 on 1 behavioral classes. Are there books you would recommend? Any other techniques you’d try? We don’t use physical tactics, but she definitely knows ‘no’, and she gets put into her kennel when she does something wrong. Honestly sometimes she acts submissive as well, but I have no idea why– we’re a very gentle and loving family, and 14 month old adores her. Other than this, she’s the sweetest thing on the planet. I just love her so much, I couldn’t bear to let her go, but if she keeps this up, I just can’t have her around my son. Looking for honest, helpful answers here. Please leave your judgment behind. We do go on walks often. She also has a 1/2 acre in the back to run around in (which she does all day). We used to bribe her with treats, but my assumption was that it made her do the behaviors more in order to get treats? I don’t know what you mean by ‘made up your mind’. My last resort would be giving her to a loving home. My full intention is to keep her, I’m just looking for advice.
