Open Question: what is your “golden moment”? What really makes you feel success when in the field? ? |
I know this isn’t a hunting forum anymore and I don’t own an air soft or want to talk about gun vs gun. What is a victory to you? When all I did was rifle hunt deer I personally liked catching a salmon better and crowned it the king of sports in my mind. Nothing was better! Then I started bow hunting and using game cameras. WOW some photos are priceless. Actually harvesting a buck with a bow it tops also. Last couple years though I really enjoy my hounds. I have always hound hunted but bought and trained my own pups to run bobcats and coons. They are seasond strait dogs now and catch everything I commit to. This is my “golden moment”. We don’t kill everything we tree but we stretch a fair amount of hides for auction. The pride I feel when these hounds figure out a hard one is priceless. It is hard work and I don’t know how many more years I can do it in this rough country. Till I can’t I will be……What drives you? What is your king of sports?
