Open Question: Training my dog not to fear bite? |
Well it’s not a problem now, but my fam just recently got a year old dog and my mom’s was afraid that he was going to bite out of fear even though I told her it wasn’t a big deal. (He’s big so I think that’s why she’s scared.) When we got him they said that he could be trained not to do this although he’s not mean anyways. My mom says he doesn’t have to be mean but it’s about if he scared…I promised to teach him not to do it. How do I teach this to him?Bonnie- HEY HEY HEY- I said that WASNT a problem now! My mom’s afraid that all dogs bite out of fear, and we haven’t exactly scared the crap outta my dog to find out if he will bite! I just want to teach him early on that it’s not okay, since sometimes dogs do bite if they get scared. OMG please read the question before you answer, I found this very offensive.
