i have a new terrier puppy and he’s such a bother! i can’t seem to train him no matter how much i try. he’s 8 months old and still incapable of using the bathroom in the part of the yard that i marked out. when he does bad i rebuke him immediately. my wife doesn’t understand dogs and freaks out saying that i’m going to make the puppy sad by rebuking him and she says that they could send me to jail for that. i don’t think she’s right so i’m here. how many times can you LEGALLY strike a 13 pound puppy before it’s illegal? 8-10 blows seems to do the trick, but i want to make sure i’m within the law, and to show my wife up.
