Open Question: this is my story what do you think? |
if someone say 6 years ago had asked me if i ever saw myself running from 18 vicious trained-to-kill dogs, with two runaway orphans, a stolen crystal necklace and a knowledge that if they caught us everyone on earth would die painfully, i would have looked at them like they where crazy. but as i heard the blaring sirens announcing to the whole campus of our escape, i realized that anywhere would be better than here.my feet hit the dew covered grass quickly and gracefully. my breath was even and calm as if i were taking a stroll in the park instead of running for my life. the moon was high in the sky casting a ghostly glow on everything. the air was cool. perfect world-saving weather. the dogs howled and barked as their masters growled commands at them almost as loudly as the dogs, as they tore along our trail trying to keep up. i glanced behind me to chuckle at how far behind those silly canines were, but gasped as i saw that they were only about 6 yards away. i calculated about how much time it would take for them to catch up if they only went about a second faster. 3 seconds. my followers trailed close behind me; a look of panic was upon both of their faces. i ran faster thinking of how many blades of perfectly trimmed grass i was scorching. my head tingled as i looked a head. perfect. just what i need, an 10 ft barbed wire fence. when i was a few yards away, i took a deep breath as i jumped up clasping noisily onto the side of the sickening chain link fence, immediately starting my upward climb i felt the fence shake dangerously as my followers copied me and jumped onto the fence as well. when i was near the top, i closed my eyes i took a deep breath, hoping it would not be my last, and using my arms, launched my self into the night air praying that i would land on the other side. i soared through the air and for a split second i felt calm, that is, until i hit the ground. all in a split second, the muscles in my legs tensed to absorb the shock of the landing and i took off, my legs hitting the ground like bolts of lightning. i let my head hang back and i smiled to myself as i knew that with the help of my newly found powers, there was no way they could stop us.its only a startI’m 13 by the way
