Open Question: Sudden aggression in dog? |
We got our dog from the local paper about 2.5 months ago. He is around 8-9 months old. All of a sudden if someone comes to our door, or comes in the house he’s growling and the hair on his back is standing up. He has never done this before until about a week ago. It seems to be worse with males but again only 3 people have come to the door in that time frame. He currently in obedience training, last month he completed his first shots. And he’s going to be neutered this month. He does have a little bit of dog aggression but it only seems to be with the neighbours dog (at training class he’s jumpy but not fighting) How can I nip this in the bud, I have two children and I don’t want it to escalate to an extreme point.
