Open Question: Solving agression towards strangers that want to pet my dog? |
I have an American Bulldog I had him since he was 6 weeks old when he was a tiny puppy he was friendly with everyone. and he continue to grow he started to growl at strangers first males, and then females now he doesn’t allow strangers to pet him. He had basic training, Intermediate training but, don’t know what else to do. Now people that i know that have American bulldogs tell me its ok if he’s aggressive towards strangers meaning is what he was breed for “PROTECTION” please advice thanks….he’s still agressive towards strangers don’t know what else to do, and he’s one of those dogs that everyone wants to pet and literally everyone wants to pet him but unfortunely he doesn’t want any of it.
