Open Question: Should I try another dog food brand? |
My dog is on a raw food diet and grain-free dry kibble diet. I switch on-and off every so many weeks. I only buy the best brands of dog food, like Orijen, Evo, and Primal. He is not a picky eater, and eats kibbles very well. MY QUESTION: The store ran out of my dog’s usual food brand, and had to switch brands (but in equal quality) however, he won’t eat it!!! Since he is not a picky eater, I know that he just doesn’t like the taste.Do you think I should throw away the food he doesn’t like? If I did throw it out, would this make my dog a picky eater? (because he normally isn’t) Or should I stick with the dog food and have my dog deal with it? I just feel bad about throwing away a large bag of dog food…but I also don’t want to train my dog to be a picky eater–what do I do??
