Open Question: My pit bull head butts people in the face? |
I have a 9 month old pit bull. She is very demanding & aggressive but in a playful way The only reason it seems overly aggressive is because she’s 60 lbs. She jumps on everyone and immediately tries to head butt them right in the mouth. She’s busted more than one friends lip & I need to find out why she’s doing this. I figured it was because she needed more socializing and exercise. I took her to the dog park and all she did was run full force into other dogs. No biting, no barking just slammed into them. When I say no firmly or even call her name she doesn’t even look at me. The only time she will come is if she hears me opening a bag of treats. HOWEVER on walks (no people and no other dogs) she stays right beside me and acts like a perfect dog. WHAT THE HELL?? I know she needs to be trained but please help me figure out why she’s acting this way.
