Open Question: Major help with beagles.? |
I’m getting my father a beagle for his birthday. My boyfriend and I have built a nice sized pin and buried wire all along the fence in my backyard. He will only be pinned at night due to my mothers allergies we can’t bring him in while she is home. He will be let out all day long. I’m not really sure on food? He’s 9 weeks on the 7th. My dad has this whole thing about table scraps being good for dogs, like green foods and meat and such. Is that okay for him to eat? As you can see, I’ve never had a beagle and I’m so lost on what to feed him and what they like. I hear they have quite the nose on them. How would I train him to stay with me and not wander off? How do I train him at all? What kind of food should I buy? Do they like to dig? Do they get along with other animals? Are they territorial?HELP!
