Open Question: Looking for a good family (sturdy) dog that does not shed much? |
Hi! I have 2 very active boys 4 yo and 5yo and we are looking for our first family dog and we want to make sure we get a dog that fits our lifestyle. This is who we are…we love to camp, hike, ride bikes…we have a lake house in the woods and a boat. I want a dog that is medium size for travel, can be trained to be off a leash and not run off so he can go camping with us… a dog that can go off with the boys to the park (when their older). I want a dog that will grow up w/my boys. My thing is I hope it does not shed much. What are your ideas?
