Open Question: impossible potty training (dog) HELPME!!!!? |
I have a two year old dog and a one year old apt that he is ruining! Ive tried potty training him for the past two years and he simply cannot do it. I work 10 hrs a day 4 days a week, (but im home the other three,) and walk him very consistantly once when we wakeup and once when i get home. Regardless of how long ive been out, when I come home he’s marked a spot with a bit of urine. Im at my end with all this! Should i be walking him more? not allowing him to eat/drink when im out? Hes only 6lbs, and hes a mix between a shihtzo and toy poodle. He seems to be a very happy dog, so i dont believe hes bitter and doing this out of spite, but im not sure!? When I come home to see this (twice a day, everyday) I bring him over to it and then say ‘bad!’ in an angry voice and put him in the bathroom for about 15 mins…what else can I do???!?!?! ahhhhhhhhhh!
