Open Question: I was given a dog and now they are threatening to dog nap him.? |
I was given a dog by some people I see a couple of times a year. They approached me asking if I wanted the dog. I didn’t even know they had him. I agreed to take the dog and during the hand off we agreed to get together once in awhile so they could see him. Nothing else was discussed, no expectations were set. I have had the dog now for 3.5 months, have had him neutered, i have trained him and gotten his shots. They have called me 2 times trying to set something up but on the days they requested, I was out of town. Now they are threatening to come and take him. Like come to my house and dog nap him! They were very hostile about it. Keep in mind, they approached ME about taking the dog because they couldn’t keep up with him. After careful consideration I agreed to take the dog and now he is a very popular part of our family and has fully adjusted to his new home and life. He now has doggy friends and even goes to the dog park. This dog couldn’t even walk on a leash when I got him and did not get along with other dogs at all. Now we spend hours at the doggy park and he has tons of doggy friends and family. He has changed so much for the better since I got him.
