Open Question: I think I can’t cope with my dogs, should I get rid of them? |
I have three Jack Russell Terrier pups, 7 weeks, and two 9 week olds. The reason I got them was not because I particularly wanted a dog but because I felt sorry for them (there conditions were appauling). One dog was fine, three is a bit much.I normally live with a house mate who also shares the responsibility but right now he is away with work.I live in a town house so it is a big enough house, and the yard is an okay size (no grass though) but I can’t keep up with the mess and training three dogs is really hard. So, my question is should I stick it out and wait till my house mate gets back OR should I start letting them sleep outside (they’re inside because I thought they were too small for outside, it is Spring here so it is warm) OR should I get rid of one, two or three of them? Please help!I need answers ASAP.It’s hard to give them up, when the reason I took them was to take them out of a bad situation. How am I supposed to know they won’t end up worse then they started??And, they are a pack now, they really need each other, it would be even ahrder to find someone willing to take them all.How do I find someone reliable?AND what else could I do if I can’t?
