Dogs Training Blog

Ok, today my 3 cousins came over today after I came home from school (they were already out of school at 2:30 and 3:00 elementary and middle school doens’t end ti’ll then). Anyways, I was looking at the classifieds as I always do and I was looking at dogs. He saw puppies for free which were pit bull lab mixes and he wrote the number down. He is only 12 or 13 years old. I told him ” Why do you bother anymore, you know your not getting another dog because you gave away your 3 other ones”. He then replies by saying that he never wanted the Beagle or the Bichon because aparently they weren’t “manly” and were useless. I told him you he couldn’t even take of the dogs he had before, muchless a pit bull. Then he says quote on quote ” Im going to train that dog to attack and imma walk it down the street”. I then yell at him saying he is only a 12 or 13 year old boy that couldn’t even take care of the dogs they kept. He didn’t need a pit bull because the dog would only be a menace if he had the dog. He also has a brother and a sister that are younger than him. But they did’t want the Beagle or the Bichon. Before that they had a Border Collie/ Lab mix that was tooken back to the shelter 3 days later because the dog would literally drag them across streets and around places they didn’t want to go.Plus, to top it all off, the paren’ts do NOT like pit bulls. Did I do myself right in telling him that he didn’t need any dog ?I also told them if that I were any rescue group or animal shelter, I wouldn’t adopt anything to them with a pulse.Im not the one giving thumbs downs by the way. Must be a fairy..Then he tells me I can’t handle a pit bull. I tell him first of all, I am 17 and probably way more capable and I have actually owned dogs before.
