Open Question: i need to know what to major in im interested in marine mammals but is im nervous i wont find a job? |
i work at a home health and hospice place as of right now just because i have connections , i just do file work and stuff. but im in college right now and its time to decide my major. i really really really am interested in marine mammals like taking care of them or training or really just any animals.i have trained my dogs myself for dog shows and i will always do that but just as a hobby. i have always wanted to do that but ive read up on it and it seems it would be hard to find a job when i graduated and then i would have a degree i cant use. i love where i work and i have wondered if i should do something like that (home health nurse or aid) but i just dont know if its for me, im going to try and shadow some of them and see what its like. and it would be kind of easy for me cuz i have ppl to help me there and i would have a job when i graduated, but what im wondering is , would there be a way for me to major in something for marine biology or something and minor in something for nursing? like somthin that if i didnt find a job i could be almost there to be a nurse? im paying for my own college and i fret about my loans all the time so i dont wana waste any money on changing my major all the time . what major should i get?
