Open Question: i guess i was a bit naive? |
A few months ago it was recommended to me that my dog should become a therapy dog, he is a quick learner and we have been practicing and socializing every moment of everyday i was told that once they are trained it was easy to get them certified so i didn’t do enough research. my dog has visited nursing homes and special needs facilities and has been so great throughout it all he is so sweet and lovable and tolerant of everything. now all i want to do is certify my sweet guy and i can’t find any company that will do it because he is a wolf hybrid. he is the perfect therapy dog and is low content. does anyone know of a company that could help me? i would hate for him not to get this after all his hard work. i realize i could lie about what he is but i really don’t want to hide it. i would really appreciate people not making negative comments about him, he was a rescue and he is perfect groomers, vets, nurses everyone loves himbecause he came from a insane breeder who got busted and got her animals taken, all the dogs were wolves or wold hybrids. 9 pure bred grey wolves were on the propertyand he isn’t illegal in my county
