Open Question: I finally admit failure with my dog….? |
I adopted Lollipop in July when she was 6 weeks old. I’ve had her for 12 weeks now!!!After 2-3 weeks, she seemed to do SO WELL with going potty outside, so I stopped watching her every single move around the house. And, every second (literally) I take my eyes off her, she goes in the house. She pooped on the carpet twice today! Grrr….. Every few days she goes in the house. I use gates, close doors, and sometimes use a leash indoors. I have shampooed my carpet so many times it’s ridiculous! But there’s always that one second she runs away to anywhere that I can’t see her. So, I finally admit I’m a little frustrated. She’s 5 months old now. How will I know when she is finally completely trained? As soon as I feel like she is, she proves me wrong.
