Open Question: how to train/stop my german sheperd from barking at dogs on walks? |
i got my dog two days ago, she is a german sheperd and hound mix and has a great personality. she is 6 months old and loves to play outside. me, my dad, and my younger brother took her out for a walk and there was another dog walking on the other side of the street. she would not stop barking and growling at it. and im sure she did not want to play with it because she was growling a lot at it. is there anything i can do to stop her from doing that, or not jump/growl at it so much? i know german sheperds are very protective by nature, but i dont know how i will be able to take her on walks if this keeps upplz help!!!!
