Open Question: how to rehabilitate an abused dog….? |
we adopted a dog from the shelter and she just seems so scared all the time. i have no idea what to do. it’s to the point where she won’t even listen at all. i just feel so helpless. i dont know how to approach her or train her. ideas please!!! i’ve seen a few shows of the dog whisperer and he says not to use treats or food to gain their trust. i should have asked for other ways of gaining her trust other than food.
