Open Question: How much can you/do you make as a dog trainer?

I’m planning on offering obedience, agility, conformation, behavioral issue training, home visits, and maybe rally and lure-coursing.I’m being told that you can’t make money as a dog trainer. Can anyone disprove this? What training do you offer? Would you mind giving a range of what you make? Is it enough to live off of?I’m currently in college at UW-Madison getting a degree in Agricultural Business so that I can run my own dog training facility (I would be the trainer, and might hire one or two others.) Training would take place at the facility, and I wouldn’t be working for someone else.I plan to attend a dog training academy to get certified as a trainer and learn how to train for other things as well.I’m a natural at training, and have never had a dog disobey me, even breeds that have 1 owner. My uncles hunting dog only listens to him, but he listens to me too, and I’m the only other one that the dog listens to. He doesn’t even listen to my aunt.I trained a 4-5 month old puppy. In 3 hours (spread out over 3 days), I trained the puppy to walk on a leash, sit, stay, come, lay down, and shake (other paw was included in shake too).I included all of that, because those were questions when I previously posted this. Also, how can you get a job doing this for animal planet?I’ve also shown dogs in obedience, agility, and conformation.I’ve worked with behavioral issues, and fostered a dog that had no human contact until after he was 2 months old. Because of me, he was able to be adopted, and got a great home.
