Open Question: How do I get my chihuahua to accept strangers? |
I have a 1 year old chihuahua. He is VERY shy around people he doesnt know and tends to act aggressivley if someone actually tries to pet him. I have been training dogs for years and have never had this problem, so I’m finding it difficult to deal with, I enrolled him in agility class too hopefully build his confidence and get him more used to being around people. We are going to lots of public places to train aswell. I’m not asking him to be Mr.friendly, but at least accept being handled and not panic.Anymore tips???
