Open Question: Getting another dog? Please help!? |
I have a pomeranian, Kingston (he’s just a puppy at 6 months) I really want to get an older and bigger dog from my ASPCA for several reasons:-my neighborhood isn’t as safe as I would like and I live by myself, I would feel safe with a bigger dog-I want kingston to have a friend at home when I go to work-I have always wanted another dog, since I was little I have wanted a big dog and a tiny dog-I think an older dog would be a good influence on Kingston, who I am training but is really hyper almost all the timeI am thinking of a getting an older dog, is that good?I would like an akita, lab, husky, mix or simply a mutt are any of these good breed with a little puppy?Kingston is a boy, what gender should I get?SHOULD I GET A DOG AT ALL?thank youby the way:i have an elderly cat who doesn’t mind kingston but i don’t know about big dogs, is that a problem?
