Dogs Training Blog

I have a 1 year old beagle, and we have potty trained him using the indoor potty pads…well now I’m wanting to move up to the next level, and have a more sanitary and odor reducing way of allowing the dog to pee inside the house. We live in an apartment, so he needs to be able to relieve himself inside. We tried using the doggy litter, but my beagle kept trying to eat it because it looked just like his kibbles. He also did not like to use his box once the doggy litter was used because it had an unstable surface, and he kept slipping. Im wondering if kitty litter might work, since it could be more compact, less likely to be eaten (?) and better at odor reducing.Any suggestions? Thanks!
