Okay here is the situation we have 3 dogs Sheltie, Jack Russell, and a Heinz 57–well my Jack used to attack every dog that walked near her well don’t ask me how we did it but we broke her from attacking. My problem is our neighbors have a Pit Bull mix who comes up on our porch and up to our windows and just barks and growls and attacks thru the window now our Jack does it to but we do not have any leash laws at all where we live and I had my dog out on a leash a couple of weeks ago and she attacked her I had to literally swing my dog up in the air well I didn’t say anything I just took my dog inside and made sure that their dog was not out at all when I let mine out. Well the other night I let them outside and she attacked my dog really bad thankfully noone was seriously hurt but I was mad and upset and I called our landlord (whos son is the dogs owner) and I kindly told her that something had to be done about this dog. Well we have decided to put up a fence to be safe but I recommended that they either put a fence up or get a training collar. They still have let their dog run loose at all hours of the day and night and I have to watch and make sure that they are not out just to let my dogs out to go to the bathroom. Any suggestions?? I just don’t know what to do Now keep in mind when she charged my dog this past time I yelled at mine and she listened and stopped and came back to me I just couldn’t get to her fast enough and she just charged her from behind.You are going to laugh but where we live we have no animal control no humane society nothing. Keep in mind I don’t put mine on a leash because of where we live at our law is no leash outside the city limits but you are responsible for what your dog does.
