Open Question: doberman or a rottweiler? |
I want a dog that’s smart, loyal, need exercise (so do I, lol), protective of his family, loving, and good looking, so I decided a dobie or rottie. I know these dogs get a bad rap for being violent and vicious, but I blame the owners, not the dogs. I’ve had 4 dogs and have learned to train them by reading over 40 books, watching hours of videos, and dog whisperer. I know this doesn’t make me a pro, but I’ve also found some puppy classes that meet once a week for a couple of hours in my community. I’ve found two GREAT breeders, highly recommended by local trainers and friends who own dobies and rotties. I’m torn between the two breeds! This will be MY family’s first dog, shadow died 3 years ago when i was finishing college. I know I’m ready for one of these 2, but how can I decide which one to get?I forgot, my yard is fenced, but not too large, however we have a park where we can take leashes off and play fetch, and lately i’ve been running and would like some company.
