Open Question: A Long Distance Training Tool For Cats?

Kyo, my growing kitten, has been slowly itching every nerve in my body with his bad habits for over a month nowIt’s not that he’s bad, he’s just so stubborn! I tell him not to do something and remove him from the spot he’ll just run back over there as if I don’t even exist! ((This is especially bad when it comes to electric cords that I can’t hide)). I’ve tried the water gun. And it works up to a point. On certain things it’s stopped him completely on others he’ll just do what he wasn’t supposed to do and take off running. (( i.e. scratching furniture))I’m not too concerned about the furniture or cords being damaged since he’s young and I keep his nails trimmed down anyway but still I don’t want to give him the idea it’s okay. I want him to use the scratching post I’ve given him and over a dozen toys in the house NOT using my curtains as swinging vines and trashcans as his personal vacation spot. So I ask this question, is there a long distance thing I can use on him. Something that works almost like an electric dog collar? Not something to shock him but something in which I can tell him No and push a button instead of chasing him around the house with a water bottle. There are few doors in the house so he has free roam, most of the time I hear what he is doing before I can see him which makes discipline hard. So is there an invention out there? I’m NOT kidding around on this. Nothing something that will seriously shock him but like a sound collar or something that I can use to suppliment the water guns.Thank You!
