Dogs Training Blog

Hi, we bought our rottie about three months ago and started training him in the crate as soon as we got him. We didn’t realize he was peeing his crate at first because we had bedding in there and we thought that dogs don’t pee where they sleep so we didn’t bother checking. Anyways, we found out he was peeing in his crate at night so we started taking him out every couple hours during the night, this didn’t work, he was still peeing. Then we tried getting rid of the bedding and just letting him sit in his pee, this didn’t work. He didn’t mind sitting in his pee! Then he started drinking it! We really don’t know what to do anymore, if we let him sit in his pee he drinks it all up, we take him out he still pees! His crate isn’t even too big for him! He has enough room to lay down and that’s it!
