Open Question: 5 m. old puppy having poop accidents? |
My 5 m. old puppy has had two poop accidents in the last month or so. He knows what he’s doing is wrong after he does it, and he always lets me know he needs to go- I just literally don’t get to the door fast enough.Is this normal? He’s very good about peeing outside, we haven’t had any of those accidents since he was much younger. He’ll be neutered in a month, but I don’t think that relates to pooping in the house.I shouldn’t be discouraged, right? When were your dogs fully housetrained? Our other two dogs were both Adult rescues, so no puppy H.training problems.Thanks!Adam- he’s a Service dog in training, and we always take him to pee and poop before we do into stores, and regularly at home too.That being said, Thanks everyone. I guess he’s learning when he REALLY was to go, lol.
