You can do a Yahoo search for PUPPY TRAINING and you will find loads of links which give good advice and help about how to train your puppy.
good luck… i’m sure you will find many, useful tips on the internet.
ok you know it needs to go potty when it starts sniffing so when it does that take it outside and wait till it goes or if you cant let it outside get potty pads for pets you can buy them at a local pet co or pet smart
and put it in a some what big box put the puppy in their and make sure it cant get out watch it untill it does its buisness pretty soon it knowsthe potty pads are the place to go when no one is home or no one will take him out side
You would be best equipped to enrol you and your new puppy in puppy preschool then continue on to obedience training. You need to reinforce whatyou learn at home. Remember: The KEY to a wellbehaved dog is CONSISTENCY; the love it. It makes your life a breeze too and everyone is happy. Happy pooch happy owner et al.
Meanwhile encourage him with behaviour modification. No yelling, abuse etc. That’s all negative and will reinforce negative behaviours. Persist and encourage with eternal love as you would a child.
Hi,
Crates make housetraining simple. Because dogs don’t like to *** or **** where they sleep and eat, they’ll hold it when they’re in their crate. Take him out for bathroom breaks regularly, and he’s more likely to eliminate outdoors–this helps him learn a good habit. But remember crate is a training tool, not a place to stick your dog and forget about him. Please visit the following links for more info.
Potty training will take a lot of time and patience. Here is a great article on Potty Training that helped me out a bunch:
Good Luck!
