My apbt is cool calm and intelligent great with kids and very patient. He gets along with other dogs even if other dogs are agressive toward him he keeps calm and will not attack unless he has to defend himself. most dogs are extremly aggressive toward him for some reason. He is also VERY Protective of his family. Apbt can be great guard dogs they have intelligence and athleticism but you have to socialize them early and you need ALOT of patience yes but apbt need to be properly socailized.
