you know what I just love your training videos. I have been telling everyone about your you tube site, and how basic and easy your videos are. I want to thank you, we just had a litter of aussie pups and are keeping 1 of the males to keep mom company while we are at work and plan on agility trainig both dogs.
Great Video, clear easy to follow and fun. Not likely I will be doing this with My Rhodesians , chances of surviving them on my back not great LOL but still excellent teaching video
This is a really neat trick. I’d love to train my dogs to do something like this. They might be a bit harder to train since they are so much smaller. I have a Cavalier I just got her she is 9 weeks old and is doing great on house training and sit. I am very happy with her. Thanks for sharing this video
. Zak thank you for the information u always provide. It is top notch! Your details are very clear and make it so much better to follow and become a better trainer
Zak all you videos are of small or else large light weight dogs, you never see large heavy weight dogs do any fun tricks. check this out type in the word “Craiglock” in You Tube to see a Bernese Mountain Dog make a lucky strike.
I know a lot of trainers who would never give out their training techniques like you do. Or at least the competitive ones! I think you’re fabulous! I’m going to try to teach this to my border collie. I’ll post a video if Im successful!
Great video, my Wheaton Terrier is a great jumper, I’ll have to try this one. Her biggest problem is jumping on OTHER people, they don’t want to reprimand her and she seldom jumps on me so it’s hard to train her not to jump on others. Suggestions ? Thanks .
Thank you Zak. That was a very useful video. I am a professional dog trainer and I’m just starting to enjoy frisbee and frisbee moves as I have a Belgian Tervuren Frisbee Addict! I liked the way you broke down large table to small table, and then balance on the back. Those details are very useful. I looked at the vault tape and would like more detail. My dog weighs about 50 pounds so I’m not sure if it will be safe for me, but I’m game. Thanks again.
Get the pup into a ‘sit’. Then, with a treat in your hand, let the dog sniff your hand so that he knows it’s there. Lower you hand to the ground just in front of him, keeping it closed. Encourage him to lay down to get it. The second he lays down, reward. After this, you can slowly lengthen the time he must spend in the ‘down’ position before he gets the treat. Make sure you work on this second part, or you may have a dog that only goes down for a second before coming back up.
How do you get da puppy to lay down? I don’t Know how to get to the dog to lay down. I tried to give a bone because usually a dog lays down to bite the bone wen on ground, but my new puppy didnt. So is there any other way to make the puppy lay down without forcing it to?
That is GREAT! You must be an awesome owner and trainer. I’ll try that. I’ve got a miniature schnauzer….do you think she could be a frisby dog? Even if not, it’s not big deal. Great video!
Love your videos. You make it all look soooo easy. I’m only a beginner at all this, but I’m blessed with a very willing and greedy dog (Sheltie). Hope that one day the both of us may do some of the nicer tricks you’re showing us.
wow this is cool!
im going to teach my australian shephard to do this!
THANK YOU

I got my Cattle Dog to Sit Pretty with the clicker & frisbee reward. Now it’s time to learn the stall.
Eventually I want to get him to Sit Pretty on my back.
Doubt we’ll ever be able to do the “Superstar” but ya never know.
Thanks so much for your videos. Dingo & I are having a blast learning together!
